This role is a 6 month contract with potential to extend or convert to permanent.

General Accounting: Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing. Monitor cash flow, prepare weekly AR reviews, and process vendor payments.

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and analyze financial statements, conduct P&L; reviews, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations. Month-End Close: Lead the month-end closing process, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and ensure accurate financial records.

Payroll Management: Process semi-monthly payroll, remit payroll taxes, and collaborate with the People & Culture team on payroll updates.

Audit & Tax Compliance: Prepare working papers for audits, manage tax filings, and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Process Improvement & Coaching: Assess internal controls, recommend improvements, and mentor junior accounting staff. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation preferred).
