Jacobson Ford has served the Shuswap and Revelstoke communities since 1967. Our Salmon Arm service team is growing, and we're looking for a Service Advisor who enjoys helping people and keeping a busy shop running smoothly.
What you'll do
- Greet customers promptly and write up clear, accurate repair orders
- Listen to customer concerns and recommend needed maintenance and repairs
- Provide estimates and completion times, and keep customers updated on their vehicle's status
- Work with technicians to get each vehicle fixed right the first time
- Review completed work and charges with customers at pickup
- Book appointments, answer phones and follow up after service
- Help out at our Revelstoke store when needed
What we're looking for
- Previous service advisor experience preferred; Ford dealership experience is a definite asset
- Robust customer service and communication skills
- Organized and calm under pressure, comfortable juggling several tasks
- Comfortable with computers; PBS or other dealership software experience an asset
- Automotive or mechanical background an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's licence
What we offer
- $21–$30/hour, negotiable based on experience
- $10 bonus for every 5/5 customer satisfaction survey
- Full-time benefits package after 90 days
- Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, no evenings
