Privateers Harley-Davidson in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is an authorized dealer of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and products. We currently have an opening in our Service Department for a Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Customer Experience & Communication
- Ensure every customer receives exceptional service consistent with Rugged Rock Harley-Davidson standards.
- Greet customers, assess service needs, and communicate repair timelines, costs, and updates clearly.
- Resolve customer complaints swiftly and professionally.
- Maintain a welcoming, premium service environment that reflects the Harley-Davidson and Arctic Cat lifestyle and culture.
- Department Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and coach service advisors, technicians, detailers, and support staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing training.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing service team members.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Operational & Workflow Management

Qualifications:

- 3+ years experience in motorcycle, automotive, powersports, or similar service management role.
- Strong technical understanding of motorcycle service, preferably Harley-Davidson.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to interpret financial reports and manage department profitability.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
