Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shelving Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing shelving units efficiently and accurately in various settings, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your construction skills to enhance spaces with precision and care.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to determine project requirements.
- Measure, mark, and prepare surfaces for shelving installation using hand tools and construction techniques.
- Install shelving units securely using appropriate hardware, ensuring alignment and stability.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, levels, and saws to complete installations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and troubleshoot any issues on-site.




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris during and after installations.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with hand tools, construction projects, or carpentry work.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, and general restoration is a plus.
- Familiarity with plumbing, welding, construction painting, or other related trades is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation to various job sites.
