Urban Life Solutions is hiring Sidewalk Crew Leads to support winter operations by operating sidewalk tractors to clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other designated areas. This role also involves hands on manual work alongside ULS crews to keep properties safe and accessible. This is an on call position requiring 24/7 availability during winter weather events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma (or equivalent)

Valid driver’s licence; ability to provide a recent driver’s abstract

Experience operating sidewalk tractors or similar compact equipment

Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Eligibility to work legally in Canada

Experience operating a pickup truck with a trailer is considered an asset

Preferred Experience & Attributes:

Prior background in snow clearing, winter maintenance, or related outdoor labour

Comfortable taking and giving direction; able to work independently or as part of a team

Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated with a strong work ethic

Pay: CA$25.00-CA$30.00 per hour

Field employees at ULS must be able and willing to work at any site where ULS is contracted to perform work, based on operational and client requirements. Work locations may vary depending on scheduling, weather conditions, and business needs.

Field employees must be willing and capable of performing manual labour duties required for both winter and summer operations. This includes physically demanding work such as shoveling, lifting, landscaping, construction-related tasks, and working outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
