Winter Snow Removal and Snow Hauling Services

Winter Season 2026-2027

We are requesting written quotations from qualified snow removal contractors to provide reliable winter snow removal services for a 55+ apartment building. The successful contractor must ensure that sidewalks, entrances, and parking areas remain safe and accessible for tenants throughout the winter season.

DUTIES:

- Sidewalk Clearing: Timely clearing of all sidewalks, walkways, building entrances, and pedestrian access routes.
- Parking Lot Clearing: Snow plowing and removal from the entire parking lot as conditions permit.
- Snow Hauling: Loading, removal, and transportation of accumulated snow off-site when required.
- Ongoing Maintenance: Return visits and additional clearing as necessary during prolonged or heavy snowfalls
- Safety and Accessibility: Maintain protected access for residents, visitors and emergency services.





Property Protection: Take reasonable precautions to avoid damage to curbs, landscaping, vehicles, buildings, and other property.

Contractor Requirements:

- Have suitable equipment to complete all required work
- Be capable of hauling snow off-site and identify any additional costs associated with hauling and disposal
- Provide reliable service throughout the winter season, including during heavy snowfall
- Carry appropriate liabilty insurance
