Structural Designer Drafter (Intermediate Level)

Job Overview

I’m working with a client who is looking to add an engaged and enthusiastic Structural Designer Drafter at the intermediate level to their team. This role will support a range of maritime, industrial, and transportation infrastructure projects

, working with a comprehensive suite of drafting and GIS tools, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, and ArcGIS. The position offers a chance to apply your drafting skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with senior engineers and drafting managers to design and document structural and civil works.
- Produce accurate drawings and complete drawing packages for feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction.
- Assist with quantity take-offs to support cost estimating.
- Utilize ArcGIS and related applications to support engineering and advisory projects.

Qualifications




- Diploma or certificate in drafting, design technology, or related field from a recognized technical institution.
- 5+ years of experience in structural or civil drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering drafting workflows.
- Ability to work onsite at the Burnaby office.

Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Civil3D , Revit , and ArcGIS .
- Exposure to 3D structural software and cloud-based drafting workflows.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Client-facing or interpersonal experience.
