Site Superintendent – Mid-Rise Residential Location: Belleville, Ontario Project: New Mid-Rise Residential Construction Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in residential mid-rise construction About the Role We are looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee a new mid-rise residential construction project in Belleville, Ontario. The Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all day-to-day site construction activities. Coordinate and direct subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site personnel. Ensure construction progresses according to the project schedule and milestones.

Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation and coordinate with the Project Manager and consultants. Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project. Identify and resolve site issues, conflicts, and construction deficiencies.

Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate required inspections. Maintain a safe and organized job site and ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements.



Track site progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and senior management. Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when required. Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, schedules, deficiencies, and site communications.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in residential mid-rise construction. Proven experience overseeing new-build residential projects from start to completion. Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and site coordination. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Experience with construction management software is an asset. Ability to work on-site in Belleville, Ontario .
