Overview

MP Lundy Construction, a 50+ year old construction management company in Ottawa, is looking for a dynamic and energetic Technical Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the VP of Construction, and working closely with our Project Managers, the Technical Coordinator's responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

- Preparation, distribution, and control of project documentation
- Review specifications for submittal requirements
- Obtain the proper bonding and insurance as required by projects
- Manage all finance-related paperwork associated with a project
- Prepare monthly billings to clients
- Review and approval of shop drawings
- Coordination of SI/CCN/CD between trades
- Keep drawing markups current
- Attending project meetings as required
- Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals
- Assist the Estimating department in the closing of tenders

Experience & Qualifications
- Post-secondary education focusing on the construction industry




- 3 to 5 years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel and Word)
- Highly organized
- Robust communicator including strong reading/writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to set priorities to enable successful performance
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve and provide recommendations
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Procore would be considered an asset
