Territory Manager – Interventional Specialties - Build the Alberta Territory!

MedQuest Medical Inc. is looking for a Territory Manager – Interventional Specialties to develop and grow its presence throughout Alberta. The immediate focus will be expanding MedQuest's presence within interventional specialties, oncology and fluid management , with a particular focus on catheter and drainage systems, including evacuated drainage bottles .

This is a territory-building role. We're looking for someone who understands the Alberta healthcare market , can gain access to physicians and clinical decision-makers, introduce new products, build clinical adoption and develop product usage ahead of future contract opportunities.

The successful candidate must also be comfortable navigating competitive hospital environments and identifying opportunities to build off-contract usage when another supplier currently holds the primary contract.

What You'll Do

- Develop new business and product usage throughout Alberta
- Build relationships with Interventional Radiologists, Oncologists, physicians, nursing teams, hospital procurement and community nursing agencies
- Promote catheter and drainage systems, including evacuated drainage bottles
- Provide clinical case support, product demonstrations and in-service training




- Generate product trials and convert new clinical users
- Build off-contract usage and position products ahead of future contract opportunities
- Navigate hospital procurement and Value Analysis Committee processes
- Prospect and develop new accounts throughout the province
- Manage pipeline, forecasting and account activity through CRM
- Travel regularly throughout Alberta

What We're Looking For We are particularly interested in candidates with:

- Medical device or healthcare sales experience in Alberta
- Existing relationships within the Alberta healthcare market
- Experience selling within interventional specialties, oncology and/or fluid management
- Experience with catheter systems, drainage systems, evacuated drainage bottles or closely related medical devices
- Proven ability to gain access to physicians and clinical decision-makers
- Strong prospecting and territory-development skills
- Experience navigating hospital purchasing and contract environments
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel throughout Alberta

Laparoscopic instrumentation or surgical device sales experience would be a strong asset. We're open to both experienced medical-device professionals with an established Alberta network and ambitious junior representatives who have relevant industry relationships and are ready to take ownership of a territory.
