We are a busy transmission shop in Scarborough looking to hire a truck mechanic. 310T license is desired but we accept apprentice applications as well.
Benefits are provided after a 3 month probation period.
This is a full time position, Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Wage will depend on candidates qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in trucks using hand and power tools.
- Perform routine checks and re-checks
- Operate heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and proper repairs
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot problems and ensure proper functionality.
