About Maison du Baroque

Maison du Baroque is a Montreal-based production and content marketing agency. We shoot and edit content for brands in real estate, hospitality, retail, fitness, and events: short-form reels, ad creatives, event recaps, and cinematic brand videos. We move fast and we care about quality. You won’t be on your own: you’ll work alongside a mentor or teammate throughout the process.

The Role

We’re looking for a Video Editor to turn our footage into scroll-stopping content for our clients. This is a paid position. Internships are also possible for the right candidate. All experience levels are welcome, but you must have edited videos before, whether professionally or for your own projects. Show us what you’ve made.

What You’ll Do

- Edit short-form and long-form videos in DaVinci Resolve, from rough cut to final export
- Cut fast-paced social content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) with strong hooks and pacing
- Color grade and clean up audio so every video looks and sounds polished
- Use CapCut for quick social edits, captions, and trending formats when needed




- Write and edit captions and subtitles in both French and English
- Format and export videos for each platform (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
- Take feedback and turn revisions around quickly
- Keep project files and assets organized

What We’re Looking For

- Fluent in French and English (required): our clients and content are bilingual, so you’ll be editing videos, captions, and subtitles in both languages
- Experience editing in DaVinci Resolve (required)
- Basic knowledge of CapCut
- A portfolio or a few examples of videos you’ve edited (personal projects count)
- A valuable sense of pacing, music, and storytelling
- Reliable with deadlines and able to manage your own edits
- Bonus: color grading skills, motion graphics, or experience with real estate, event, or brand content
