Our growing Brantford client who is a leader in manufacturing is looking for a Skid Steer Operator / Forklift Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years proven experience working a skid steer as well as a Forklift. There are day shifts available. The following are the responsibilities:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unload trailers and bunkers
- Start-up and shut down of machines
- Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust as required
- Operate a Forklift and Skid Steer/ MUST have skid steer experience
- Assist other operators when required
- Move tires from trailers and bunkers to keep production flowing
- Fill hoppers with processed rubber
- Stage materials on the plant floor
- Ensure continual feed of material to hoppers to keep production going
Requirements:
- Skid Steer License with previous experience with skid steers ex. snow removal, snowplows operators, heavy equipment operators etc.
- Previous experience with forklift operation
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility
Hourly wage - $22/hr
Straight Days- Continental 7am-7pm
