Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our steel dock team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products and structures, ensuring safety and durability. Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Using SMAW welding techniques to join metal parts accurately according to specifications.
- Perform machining tasks using hand tools, and other measuring instruments to ensure exact dimensions.
- Fabricate structural components, or custom assemblies for construction or manufacturing projects.
- Rigging materials safely for lifting or positioning using cranes or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while inspecting finished products for quality assurance.

Requirements

- Proven experience in welding (SMAW), fabrication, or related manufacturing roles.




- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, schematics, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with crane operation, forklift handling, and rigging procedures for material movement.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and welding safety standards.
- Construction experience or background in dock work installation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical systems, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
