Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate or assemble components
- Operate welding equipment including MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welders to join metal parts securely
- Use plasma cutters, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and calipers for cutting, shaping, bending, and measuring materials
- Perform rigging tasks for lifting and positioning heavy components using forklifts safely
- Conduct machining tasks on equipment such as lathes or mills to achieve precise dimensions
- Assemble ductwork or structural components following detailed schematics and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

- Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG),



fabrication or machining
- Mechanical knowledge including understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, forklifts, cranes, and other manufacturing equipment safely
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and crane operation is a plus
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Solid attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for precise fabrication tasks
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials safely, and perform manual labor as needed
