Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Woodshop Production Manager to lead our production operations in the wood products industry. Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of woodshop production, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
- Implement process improvements using production principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with Operations to manage inventory levels, procurement, and delivery schedules ensuring timely availability of materials.
- Maintain quality control standards by inspecting finished products, monitoring assembly procedures, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Lead efforts in process standardization and automation to improve overall manufacturing performance.
- Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular training sessions, and ensuring adherence to OHS regulations.

Qualifications





- Proven experience in management within a woodworking or similar production environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to woodworking equipment, machinery maintenance, and assembly processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement and manage a diverse staff environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices for optimizing material flow.
- Experience in quality control procedures and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, communicate effectively, and foster collaboration across all areas of the woodshop.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
