Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Plant, fertilize, prune, irrigate, and harvest crops. • Operate and maintain farm machinery; strictly follow food safety, worker safety, and biosecurity procedures. • Perform cherry harvesting tasks: picking, sorting, and removing debris or leaves from cherries. • Dump cherries from buckets into tank stations. • Perform apple harvesting tasks: picking and sorting/removing defective apples (bruises, cuts, hail damage). • Remove debris or leaves from apples. • Specialize in tree fruit production and preparation for the market.
