Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our daily warehouse and distribution activities.

The ideal candidate is an organized, dependable leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting a team, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
- Lead, supervise, and train warehouse staff while promoting accountability, productivity, and teamwork.
- Plan and coordinate warehouse workflows, staffing, and resources to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and effective inventory controls.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries.
- Manage third-party logistics (3PL) client requirements while maintaining service standards and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical improvements to reduce errors and costs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.
- Oversee warehouse equipment, supplies, maintenance requirements, and space utilization.




- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistency, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments, transportation providers, and senior management to address operational challenges.
- Provide regular management updates on warehouse performance, staffing, inventory, and operational priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
- Experience supervising or leading warehouse teams.
- Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage daily priorities and work independently.
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices.

Additional Experience Considered an Asset

- Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) operations or multiple client accounts.
- Experience implementing warehouse process improvements, SOPs, or operational efficiency initiatives.
- Forklift certification or hands-on experience with warehouse equipment.
