This role will establish continuous, cutting-edge improvement of current services in order to provide an enhanced customer service experience.What You Will DoProvides solution focused assistance to site staff.Ensures all shifts are filled to meet business needs.Responsible for the management of "site workbook" of vacant shifts.Manages sick time, time & attendance records, filling up shifts, and scheduling.Prepares daily assignment sheets for the departments.Authorizes and affirms that overtime and agency use is minimal.Assures effective communication with management regarding unit staffing status and issues.Accurately inputs relief staff into shifts in Kronos.Enters accurate hours/pay codes are entered for relief staff.Liaison with Unit Clerks/Administrative staff.What You Will NeedHigh School Diploma or GED required.Diploma in office management or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years' experience in same or similar role.Ability to operate related equipment i.E., word processing software and spreadsheet programs.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Preference will be given to those who have experience in a unionized health care environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Upholds in maintaining confidentiality.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Work Location: AgeCare Sandringham Address: 1650 Fort Street Victoria, BC V8R 1H9 Employment Type: Regular Full-time FTE: 1.00 Wage Levelling Salary: $31.19 per hourSince 1998 AgeCare has been dedicated to creating vibrant communities that celebrate and support aging with dignity, independence and community interaction for seniors.
