Quality Assurance and Operations for product/process developmentResponsible for effective troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenanceProactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or maintenanceMust be part of team, a 'hands on' approach with equipmentWork with production to ensure clear SOPs / instructions are provided for all equipmentEnsure safe plant operationsRequirementsValid 442A Ontario Industrial Electrician trade license an asset5 years of industrial food equipment experience is required (e.G. flow wrappers, or relevant experience in a repetitive/quick-paced environment)Knowledge of robots, conveyors, high speed packaging equipment, and electrical/electronic controls5 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance proceduresExperience troubleshooting with PLC'sMust have knowledge of working on Auto Cad or similar software program to maintain and edit existing engineering drawings as required from time to timeComputer skills required for Microsoft OfficeMust have strong leadership skills and passionate about quality and food safetyStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and highly organizedWorks well under pressurePreference will be given to candidates with Lean Six SigmaForklift license and experience is considered an asset
