K.I.B. Building Restoration Inc. is a Leader in building restoration across Southern Ontario since 1999. Now we are looking for a Project Coordinator/Estimator to join the team!The purpose of the Project Coordinator/Estimator role will report to Project Manager and support the Project Manager to ensure communication on a project and complete the projects with outstanding quality, and safety on each and every jobsite.Responsibilities:Assisting in preparing budgets and construction schedules, setting up project administration files; With direction from the Project Managers and the Senior Management team, initiating and maintaining correspondence with owner, architect, engineers, sub-trades and suppliers, project employees and foremen; Gain an understanding of how to select suppliers and sub-trades and obtaining quotes; Assist with and/or clarifying scope of work with sub-trades and suppliers, and K.I.B. foremen and work force; Develop successful relationships with current and prospective clients and consultants; Ensuring there is a continuous focus on safety in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as our company health and safety policy; Attending site meetings and assisting in the completion of project deficiencies and prepare and maintain various reports and recordsAssist and prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, quotes, and tender; Monitor and coordinate daily activities with the client, contractors, foremen, project employees, other consultants, and the approving authority; Manage all aspects of projects and implement contract documents; Assist with initial mobilization and set up of the construction site; Ensure the productive use of labor, machines, and materials used by the crew; Take an active role in the selection, training, assignment and supervision of project staff, including monitoring performance,



providing feedback and taking corrective action; Perform periodic field inspections of projects both prior to and during construction to determine compliance with approved plans and regulations at the request of inspectors; Read, interpret, and understand construction drawings and specifications, the city codes and ordinances regarding building codes, permit issuance, and permit fees; Other duties asrequired.QualificationsBachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, architecture or related fieldMinimum 2 years of working experience as a project coordinator in construction IndustrySkilled in reading construction documents, understanding construction scopes and specifications, and exterior restorationAbility to multi-task between multiple projectsAbility to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationshipsExcellent communication, interpersonal, business management skills and negotiation skillsStrong organizational, time management, and problem solving skillsDetailed-oriented and results drivenMust be initiative‐taking with a desire to always improve both personally and professionallyAbility to work as part of teamMust have valid G level drivers licenseAble to lift 50lbsWhat's in it for youEmployer sponsored Deferred Profit Sharing PlanCompany provided vehicle and phoneApplication deadline is on or before Friday, October 30, 2026.
