Family Physician0.25-0.75 FTE – Cross Lake First NationHourly Range: $237.32On-call stipend, Meal per Diem and Additional HoursSite DescriptionCross Lake: 770 kilometers north of WinnipegYear round road access, approximately 9 hours’ drive each way.In-province travel and accommodations covered by organization.Out of province travel paid with physicians holding 0.25 FTE (5-7 days monthly) or higher.Out of province travel paid for locum providers with a commitment of 2 consecutive weeks (12 days).Qualifications- Must hold licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba, or eligible for licensure.- Current membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)Certifications- Must have current Advanced Life Support (ACLS- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) (within 6 months of hire)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)



(within 6 months of hire)- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)(within 6 months of hire)- Indigenous cultural awareness course (within 6 months of hire)- Manitoba Opioid Antagonist Therapy (OAT) course or equivalent is encouragedSkills/Abilities- Strong health assessment and clinical skills are required- Excellent leadership, critical thinking and cooperative interpersonal skills- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, working as a member of a health care team alongside extended practice nurses, paramedics and other allied professionals- Must demonstrate an appreciation of Indigenous worldviews, cultures and be sensitive in providing anti-racist, trauma-informed care.- Must be able to prioritize, manage time effectively and be flexible.- Must possess a dependable, consistent and reliable work record, including attendance at work.CompensationCompensation is remunerated as per Doctors ManitobaNorthern Independent Contractor GP Agreement April 1 2023 - March 31 2027.#J-18808-Ljbffr
