The role involves preparing estimates, interpreting blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials, building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring and erecting walls and roof systems, scheduling and coordinating work on sites, and supervising other workers.ResponsibilitiesPrepare estimates of labour and/or material costsRead blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirementsPrepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring toolsMeasure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel,
