You'll troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose electrical and control-system faults, complete preventative maintenance, support equipment upgrades and installations, and help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.You'll work with a range of industrial electrical technologies, including PLCs, motor drives, electrical controls, instrumentation, analog and digital components, and industrial electrical systems.You'll also work alongside other skilled tradespeople,



sharing knowledge and contributing to a strong standard of safety and workmanship across the plant.What You'll DoTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipmentDiagnose faults in electrical circuits, controls, PLCs, drives and related equipmentRespond to electrical service calls and equipment issues on the production floorComplete preventative and corrective maintenanceRepair, replace, modify and install electrical components and systemsTest and calibrate electrical instruments and equipmentSupport equipment installations, rebuilds, modifications and upgradesRead and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematicsUse electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to identify problems and verify repairsIdentify required parts, tools and materialsDocument completed work and equipment history in our computerized maintenance systemRecommend improvements or upgrades when opportunities to improve equipment performance or reliability are identifiedComplete work in accordance with applicable electrical codes, CSA standards and company safety requirementsWhat You'll BringWe're looking for someone with strong electrical fundamentals, good troubleshooting instincts and a genuine interest in industrial equipment.Ideally, you'll have:Red Seal Electrician certification with industrial experiencePost-secondary technical or vocational training in electrical or electronics technologyStrong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience with industrial electrical equipment and controlsKnowledge of PLCs, motor drives and control systemsExperience working with electrical testing and diagnostic equipmentAbility to read electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagramsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailA commitment to safe, high-quality workmanshipThe ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance teamDon't check every box?If you have strong electrical experience, solid troubleshooting skills, and think your background could transfer well to an industrial workplace, we still encourage you to apply.Your Schedule12-hour day shifts8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
