PositionSchool Bus Driver (Split Shift)Locations: Simcoe, Hanover, Kingston, Ottawa, North Bay.ResponsibilitiesSafely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day.Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle.Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and secure operating condition.Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well-kept, professional vehicle.Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle.Address and report any student behavior issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures.Participate in ongoing training and career development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations.Demonstrate professionalism, patience,



and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers.QualificationsValid minimum full Ontario G-class driver’s license (Preference given to B-class drivers).21 years of age or over with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience in all weather conditions.Clean driving record and successful criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.Sound knowledge of the locations in this posting.Ability to work independently.Availability for split shifts in the morning and afternoon (Monday–Friday 6:00am–9:30am and 1:30pm–5:00pm), plus occasional charter runs if desired.Solid communication skills and fluency in English.Must pass both the pre-hire driving assessment and radio communication assessments or written evaluations.Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit.Compensation & BenefitsHourly driving rate ranging from $20.70 to $23.00.$2,000 retention bonus for qualifying drivers.Compensation for 30+ hours per week for drivers who work both morning and afternoon runs and remain available for charters or additional runs.Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) programs, and additional perks for all drivers.Full comprehensive benefits package available for full-time employees working 30+ hours or more per week consecutively.Free license upgrade program.Employee referral bonus program.EEO & AccommodationVoyago is committed to providing accommodation for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
