Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cafeteria Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support other departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3:30 pm Friday 7 am to 1:30pm

Job Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and qualified manner.
- Accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
- Balance cash drawers and follow cash-handling procedures.
- .Keep cashier stations, dining areas, and service counters clean and stocked.Replenish beverages, condiments, snacks, and supplies as required.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with light food preparation, stocking, and cleaning duties when needed.




- Support other cafeteria, catering, or food service departments during busy periods or special events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Education
