Job Title: Excavator OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Excavator Operator to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will specialize in equipment operation, specifically the excavator for installing and maintaining underground piping systems for water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure projects. This role requires expert machine operating skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment on active construction sites.ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes for excavation, grading, and site preparation.Perform trenching for installation of underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm systems.Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to ensure accurate work.Prepare construction sites by clearing land, digging foundations, and leveling surfaces.Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and crew members to meet project timelines and specifications.Load, move, and place materials efficiently to support ongoing operations.Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines on site.Assist with backfilling, compaction, and final grading to ensure proper site finishing.Identify and report hazards or issues to maintain a safe and productive work workplace.Work collaboratively with equipment operators, laborers,
