Role OverviewOur GTA Audit Practice is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the team. You may work from any of our three offices: Toronto, Oakville, or Markham.ResponsibilitiesConduct and support audit engagements by preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.Streamline the preparation of year‑end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries.Foster positive working relationships with clients and promptly address their requests and suggestions.Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues.QualificationsCompleted or currently working towards a CPA designation.Minimum of 1 year of audit experience in the public accounting industry.Exposure to or familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP standards.Prioritizes teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.Solid problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.Solid understanding of accounting policies and assurance techniques.CompensationThe expected range of compensation for this role is $54,000 to $76,000.We are committed to an inclusive application process and provide accommodations as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
