Job TitleCNC Machine Operator – North Bay, OntarioCompany OverviewEstablished in 1890, Boart Longyear is the world’s leading provider of creative, safe, and productivity-driven drilling equipment and tooling.Job ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprintsSet up CNC lathes according to the dimensions and tolerances specified by the blueprintPerform first‑off inspection after setup and conduct quality checks routinely throughout a production run to maintain a high‑quality part using various measurement tools (Vernier caliper, gauges, shadowgraph, visual)Operate CNC lathes performing various machining processes such as drilling, turning, threadingMaintain incoming/outgoing material from the machining cellEnter daily production into the MES (manufacturing execution system)Perform pre‑operational safety checks on equipment and maintain the work area including housekeeping, data reporting, and tool changesUse pins, calipers, micrometers,
