The successful candidate will report to the Executive Chef and help lead our culinary team, overseeing daily operations across both service periods.Responsibilities and Essential Job FunctionsSupervise the production, operational and sanitation aspects of all culinary and stewarding operations.Coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.Estimate daily production needs weekly and communicate them to kitchen personnel daily.Assist the Executive Chef with banquet operations and preparations as required.Recruit, train, coach, and develop the culinary team.Participate in the employee performance appraisal process, providing feedback as needed.Provide services that exceed customer expectations for satisfaction and retention.Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.Empower employees to deliver excellent customer service.Ensure culinary Sheraton brand standards and responsibilities are met.Maintain and implement policies and procedures.Purchase, receive, and store all food items.Manage food costs through waste management, portion control, and ordering.Maintain high levels of food quality and consistency through training and direction to kitchen associates.Maintain exceptional levels of guest service.Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to food and payroll.Conduct daily pre‑shift meetings according to Sheraton brand standards.Comply with hotel security,
