Emphasis is placed on estimating, reporting and monitoring progress, planning and scheduling, and dealing with project change under the direction of the Senior Outage Manager or Project Director.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo plan to execute projects in accordance with Corporate Policy; managing all day-to-dayproject managementEstablish project objectives that support outage goals and develop the project plan, including onboarding strategies, contracting requirements, schedule calendars, etc.Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates and project forecastsPlan and prepare construction and maintenance schedules including adherence to outage milestones and monitor progress against established schedulesPrepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractorsLead the project organization and assign the work activities throughout the project lifecycleMonitor project performance (cost, schedule, quality) and complete and distribute regular project reports (including issues, status, and KPIs) to key stakeholdersHire and supervise the activities of subcontractorsPrepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clientsReview work/contracts/WIP for areas of risk and correct deficienciesSupervise and complete project close-out activities and support the transition to operationsMaintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersBuild and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships to enhance competitiveness in the industry and promote good customer relationshipsPerform sales calls and visits to potential and existing accounts to generate businessRepresent company on matters such as business servicesCOMPETENCY REQUIREMENTSCommunicates EffectivelyCustomer FocusProblem Solving and InnovationEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor Degree in Engineering (or related discipline) or related experienceP. The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education, experience and overall competencies. Salary is one component of Black & Mc Donald’s total rewards package.
