Your RoleReporting to the Project Manager (Design), you will play a key role in our design division. As Senior Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for the execution of projects from design through to construction, ensuring all Enersolv standards and codes are implemented, meeting and exceeding client expectations, and continuously improving the project bottom line.ResponsibilitiesMentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and coordinating activities of those assigned to projectsPerform heating and cooling load calculationsDesign HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection SystemsCoordinate mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design teamCoordinate service requirements/connections with utility and/or municipal agenciesReview/supervise drafting, prepare/review markupsAttend project progress meetings and provide updates to the assigned Project ManagerPrepare tender documentation including specificationsPerform field reviews, site surveys and final inspectionsCarry out contract administration including shop drawings reviewsAssist/participate in the development of training material, design workshops, presentations, and other educational resources for junior staffAssist in the constant improvement of internal processes related to Design only,
