Department Production / Operations, Production / Operations Location Coldstream, British-ColumbiaReporting to the Packaging Line Lead and Production Supervisors the Packaging Machine Operator (PMO) works hands-on supporting the Line Lead and Production Labourers in the safe and effective operation of the packaging of raw baby leaf lettuce. The PMO also supports the safe and efficient operation of the box line and its connectivity to the packaging line.Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the initial washing, sorting and packing of raw baby leaf lettuceProduction line setup, visual inspection of equipment, production start-up, product changeovers, record keeping, IPCsVerification of labels, weights then metal detector within 2 (two) minutes of product runVerification of packaged product at start of run and all changes to be presented to Line LeaderSet the operating parameters of packaging equipment in accordance with standard operating practicesRaise issues,
