Apply Now!Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Technical BSA – Data Migration (Asset Management) who will support a data-focused analytics and reporting initiative, including a Synapse to Databricks migration for global asset management technology.Pay rate range (CAD): $55.00/hr – $65.00/hrResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and translate business and reporting requirements into data solutionsDefine business/reporting layer data models, including facts, dimensions, and table structuresDesign reporting-layer structures that support large-scale analytics and accurate reportingCollaborate with Data Engineers and Developers to optimise data architecture and reduce redundancyMap, reconcile, and validate data coming from multiple source systemsCreate detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teamsPartner with development teams to refine data models throughout the build and integration phasesSupport data migration needs by clarifying requirements, dependencies, and acceptance expectations in an Agile environmentDesired Skill-SetStrong experience as a Technical BSA on data-centric projectsExperience working with large-scale datasets and data warehousesStrong understanding of dimensional modelling (facts and dimensions)Ability to define business/reporting layer data models and table structuresAbility to collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Developers on data architecture and designHands-on experience with DatabricksUnderstanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)Ability to map and reconcile data from multiple source systemsStrong experience gathering, analysing, and translating business/reporting requirements into data solutionsStrong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteriaExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in Agile environmentsSelf-sufficient qualified who can ramp up quickly with minimal supervisionNice to HaveExperience with Azure SynapseExperience with data migration projects, particularly Synapse to Databricks migrationsFinancial services experience, preferably in asset management, wealth management, mutual funds, or GICsBeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
