As a Head Cook with MACSI, you will oversee the food services section, ensuring the preparation of healthy meals for clients. Your work hours will be from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with scheduled days off every third Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve balanced meals daily
• Follow standardized menus and recipes closely
• Cook a variety of dishes including meats, vegetables, and desserts
• Ensure sanitary kitchen operations and maintenance
• Report equipment malfunctions to the Regional Director
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7-11 months cooking experience
• Grade 10 Adult Basic Education (ABE 10)
• Ability to manage heavy lifting
• Experience with dietary restrictions and needs
• Solid attention to health and safety standards
