We are seeking an Vehicle Inspector to join our vehicle operations team. In this role, you will inspect and process incoming vehicles, ensuring each car meets CarDoor's high standards before a sale is finalized. You will document vehicle condition, identify issues, and coordinate with internal teams to maintain a smooth workflow.
What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and mechanical issues.
- Identify and report problems that fall outside CarDoor's quality standards.
- Move, start, and park cars around the lot safely and efficiently.
- Track inspection results using checklists and digital tools.
- Collaborate with reconditioning, detailing, and mechanical teams to prioritize vehicle flow.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for minor vehicle issues.
- Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Robust attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
- Basic knowledge of cars or willingness to learn.
- Valid G2 or higher driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Able to drive automatic vehicles; manual is a plus.
- Comfortable using tablets or basic computer software.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to pitch in where needed.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in automotive, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or other digital tools.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
