Our dedicated team brings deep expertise, care, and a shared commitment to excellence in everything we do.As a company in the process of expanding our team, we are looking for an Accountant to contribute to our continued growth and success.Overview:Manage and maintain accounting records for the management company, corporate entities, and subsidiaries.Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, payments, and vendor reconciliations.Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, amortization, and intercompany transactions.Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts between related entities, as well as bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.Prepare GST returns and support monthly financial reporting, cash flow reporting, and management reporting.Support payroll processing and related accounting entries and reconciliations.Assist with month-end and year-end close,



including reconciliations, supporting schedules, and year-end audit and tax requirements.Assist the Controller with accounting system implementation, process improvements, and other corporate accounting initiatives.Qualifications/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 3 years of full cycle accounting experienceProficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills; experience with Yardi is an assetExcellent communication, organization, and data entry skills with superior attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong multitasking and prioritization skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and schedulesWhat we offer:Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000, based on experienceAnnual dues and tuition allowanceComprehensive extended health and dental benefitsVacation policy and additional office closures throughout the yearStrong focus on professional development, including mentorship from leadershipOpportunities for growth within the companySupportive, team-oriented culture that values collaboration and work-life balance
