Want to play a part of innovating and optimizing the mining life cycle on greenfield and brownfield facilities?Responsibilities Preparation of and updates to project deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) and pipe isometric drawingsGeneral Arrangement drawings of piping layoutsAbility to independently layout piping and select mechanical equipmentDevelopment of 3 D piping models in an integrated CAD environment including pipe supportsChecking of all piping related deliverablesReviewing and commenting on vendor packages as they relate to the piping disciplineParticipating in multi-discipline design reviews and coordinating with those disciplinesAbility to lead and guide a small team of junior to intermediate piping designersEducation and Experience Must be a graduate from a 3-year Mechanical Engineering Technology Program at an accredited CollegeMinimum 5 years’ experience focused on piping design in an industrial settingExperience with the Bentley suite of Open Plant tools is an assetCompetencies (knowledge, skill, attributes)
