This job is for a current vacancy.What You'll Do:Coordinate follow up care from appointmentsWork with Physicians and Nurses in managing client careRespond to all communications including e-mails and phone calls in a timely mannerCoordinate with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of serviceAnswer patient calls from assigned phone queuesPerform other administrative functions including faxing, printing, scanning and mailing to patients and other health care providers and facilitiesThere is no face-to-face patient contact in this role; the primary interactionwith patients is through the telephone or by e-mail.The role is well suited to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to thrive in a changing setting, have excellent organization skills, a strong attention to detail, an ability to prioritize and have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.What You'll Need:Prior experience in a medical administrative or client service position working with outbound medical referralsExperience in a Medical Office position is an assetMedical Office Administration diploma is a plusExcellent written, verbal and electronic communication skillsProficient in OutlookExceptional client service skillsSound knowledge of medical terminologyExperience with Accuro EMR and Salesforce is a plusThis is a full-time primarily remote with an in-office requirement once a month in Toronto at 150 York street. The shift hours are Monday to Friday,



8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.Position Pay Range $41,830.00 - $57,516.25 CAD annuallyPay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade.Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity.
