Ability to work in a secure & production mannerRead and interpret engineered drawingsKnowledge of welding principles and methodsAll skills in the job require knowledge & skills in welding methods: SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW.Ability to follow written and oral directionsLayout and fit materials according to specifications, ensuring all tolerances are metExperience with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and forklifts, cranes, hoists, shears, saws, ironworkers & brake press.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbolsLayout and fitting as directed by drawingRead and follow weld procedures, QC plans, and other work instruction documentUnderstanding of tolerances and the importance of maintaining themSetup and adjustment of welding machines and plasma torchesPractice good housekeeping methods by keeping work area clean and clear of obstructionsRegular Hours - 44 hours per week with possible overtime
