The electrician’s duties will primarily involve the installation of CAT5 wiring and IT infrastructure throughout the School District. Applicants must have a valid B.C. driver’s license (Class 5), a B.C. Trade Certification as an Electrician (Class B) and a minimum of four years related experience at the journeyman level.The position is effective immediately to June 30, 2027. This position is directly supporting a project in IT and may need to be reposted for extended for the 2027-2028 school year.The position is included in Local 801 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.Hours: 8.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, day shift. Starting wage:



$38.80 for the first three months and will increase to $39.05 after successful completion of probation. The position is also eligible for any expected wage increases.
