and working papersAssist in financial statement preparation under IFRSWork closely with internal teams across regions to coordinate accounting inputsHelp identify and implement process improvements that reduce complexity or duplicationSupport audits and ensure documentation is complete and accurateContribute to special projects related to systems, reporting, and controlsCollaborate with the Senior Accountant to streamline processes and drive efficiencyProvide ad hoc analysis and support to the finance leadership teamRequirements:1-2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a global or multi-entity environmentSolid understanding of IFRS and functional currency conceptsStrong Excel skills and comfort with accounting systemsExcellent communication and coordination skillsDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learnExperience working with foreign currencies or international operations is a strong assetCPA designation in progress or interest in pursuingCandidates from large organizations or public practiceOnly candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered.Horizon Recruitment Inc. is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
