Nortech Advanced NDT Ltd. is seeking a skilled and safety conscious NACE AMPP CIP level 2 with CWB Level 2 as well as CGSB MT2 for a 3 week project in Grande Prairie. The ideal candidate will have a high commitment to quality and safety.Qualifications & Requirements.-Certifications: NACE AMPP CIP2, CWB 2 & CGSB MT level 2 (Experience preferred) Driver's License must be valid and have a clean record.WORKING FOR NORTECH:PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspectionEstablish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulationsApply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate resultsOrganize and report test resultsPerform specialized inspectionsPerform other job related tasks as assigned by managementEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalentTechnical background in NDT methods and proceduresDemonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspectionsKnowledge of NDT equipmentOTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:Possess team leadership, management and business administration capabilities and with very good negotiation and communication skills.
