Lakeside Mechanical is looking for a skilled and reliable Gas Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing gas systems and equipment while providing qualified service to customers and working collaboratively with our mechanical team.ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, maintain,



and repair gas lines and equipmentRead and interpret schematics to troubleshoot gas systemsConduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulationsRespond to service calls to diagnose and resolve gas‐related issuesCollaborate with other technicians and contractorsTest and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes for gas leaksKeeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functionsEnsure compliance with appliance standards and with OHSAComply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirementsRequirementsValid G Class Driver's Licence with clean driver's abstractProven experience as a Gas TechnicianMechanical knowledgeFamiliarity with HVAC systems and appliance repairAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem‐solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skills
