Senior Electrical Engineer / Project ManagerLocation: Markham, ONJob OverviewEXP Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to join our Mechanical/Electrical team in Markham, ON. The successful applicant will work independently and with minimal supervision on projects from start to completion, leading project activities and mentoring design staff.ResponsibilitiesReports to the Senior Vice President – Buildings and works independently on projects from start to completion.Leads project activities and mentors design staff on all aspects of their work.Oversees a team of project engineers and designers for technical, resourcing, and design quality.Ensures engineering quality standards are met on assigned projects.Manages the development of design concepts and ensures proper application and execution.Provides mentorship and supervision for project engineers and designers.Leads proposals, pursuits, and supports business development.Oversees financial and technical project management.Checks the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule.Leads the design team to produce schematic design, design development, tender, and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.Writes, studies,



and reports on electrical system work.Qualifications10+ years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field.Skilled Engineer (P.Eng) licensed with PEO is required.Proven team leadership experience.Strong interpersonal and articulate verbal communication skills for collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors.Thorough understanding of electrical engineering concepts with the ability to effectively communicate ideas.Advanced oral and written communication skills.Presentation and interview skills.Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.Proficient with Microsoft Office and electrical design software.AutoCAD experience and Revit MEP proficiency desired.CompensationSalary range: $90,000 – $135,000.
