This is a Temporary Part-Time (0.5 FTE) position with an anticipated duration of 3–12 months. Please note that this assignment may end earlier, should the position become available for a permanent 1.0 FTE appointment in accordance with operational requirements and the Collective Agreement.

Ambulance is currently seeking qualified Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) to join our team at the Athabasca Station. This permanent full-time position offers a predictable and balanced shift schedule of four days on, followed by four days off. As an PCP with Associated Ambulance, you will be an essential part of our emergency medical response team, providing vital pre-hospital care and life-saving interventions to the community.





Assess patient conditions to determine the extent of injury or illness and immediate care requirements. Administer pre-hospital emergency medical care, including patient stabilization for ambulance transportation. Work collaboratively with emergency medical personnel, emergency communications officers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Mandatory and Required Training – Up to date on all required certifications, including: Medical Communications Protocol (MCP) Strong commitment to quality patient care, safety, and professionalism, aligning with Associated Ambulance core values. Ability to work effectively within an interprofessional healthcare team. Ability to remain calm and perform efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations.
