Reporting to the Manager, Finance Operations, the Accountant is responsible for day-to-day accounting and finance operations. Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger in compliance with IFRS reporting standards. Facilitate wire transfers and EFT payment processing and assist with cheque deposit activities.

Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts and weekly GL reconciliation. Prepare and submit monthly regulatory filings to OSFI. Analyze and report on monthly bank fees. Assist with month-end close activities, including booking employee expense accruals, year-end audits, and quarterly reviews.





Support internal and external stakeholders by preparing information and analysis for ad hoc requests Administer the travel and expense management system, including employee onboarding and offboarding, user access management, expense report processing, corporate credit card administration, user training, troubleshooting, and ongoing employee support. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business and/or equivalent work experience Performs work under minimal supervision The position requires at least 2 years of relevant experience including superior Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Alteryx is an asset.
