For more information visit our website Role Overview We are seeking a project focused Tailings Engineer to lead capital and sustaining projects associated with Gibraltar Mine's Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) and mine water management infrastructure. The role will manage assigned projects from scope development through engineering, procurement, construction and closeout.. Core Responsibilities Lead assigned TSF capital and sustaining projects including dam raises, pipelines, pumping systems and supporting infrastructure. Develop project scopes,



cost estimates, budgets, schedules, execution plans, procurement packages and risk assessments. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and review designs, drawings, specifications and technical deliverables for constructability and operational requirements. Manage engineering consultants, contractors and vendors to safely deliver projects within approved scope, budget and schedule. Coordinate field execution, construction progress, commissioning and project closeout documentation. Apply value engineering by identifying opportunities to improve constructability, project cost and lifecycle performance. Coordinate with the Engineer of Record, Tailings Team, Operations, Maintenance and other site departments to support safe and effective project execution. Monitor and report project cost, schedule, progress, risks and key upcoming milestones. Support geotechnical investigations, survey programs, field testing and other activities required to advance project designs. Ensure work complies with the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in British Columbia, applicable permits, site standards and approved engineering requirements.
