Step into a pivotal role with Powell Contracting as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. You will manage cash collections and ensure accurate financial reporting while simplifying invoicing processes. As a key team member reporting to the Controller, you'll engage in various tasks related to accounts receivable management.

Your day-to-day will include overseeing cash collections, posting receipts accurately, generating monthly reports, and conducting customer credit assessments. This role requires analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail to enhance our financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate regularly with customers for timely invoice collections
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports for overdue accounts




- Resolve billing discrepancies professionally and efficiently
- Record daily cash receipts accurately against invoices
- Generate monthly AR reports highlighting key customer metrics Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or related roles
- Solid understanding of AR processes and principles
- Proficiency in Jonas accounting software
