Doane Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, US Corporate Tax to lead and grow our US Tax practice in Canada. Responsibilities Take a leading role in managing and growing our US corporate tax practice. Proactively provide tax advice and solutions to clients to expand business. Supervise and review the work of junior associates for accuracy and completeness. Manage and mentor staff. Review corporate US income tax returns. Collaborate with team members in Tax and Assurance groups. Monitor engagement budgets and project milestones. Qualifications Appropriate relevant accounting designation (CPA or EA). Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions. US Masters in Tax considered an asset. At least 7 years of experience in US Tax in public accounting or industry.



Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Solid commitment to excellence and attention to detail; quality driven. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Locations The role may be based in Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, or Waterloo.
